Our Partners

Finnish pesäpallo association
Pesäpallo, also known as Finnish baseball, is Finland’s national sport, and its federation has been one of our long-term partners for years.
This ongoing collaboration has made it possible to build a comprehensive, nationwide results- and management platform for the entire sport.
In the 2024 season alone, over 3 million individual records were logged across nearly 15 000 games.
All statistics, from professional leagues to youth divisions, are easily accessible in real-time.
The platform also features seamless integrations for example with streaming and betting services to enhance the overall experience.
American Football Association of Finland
American football arrived in Finland in the late 1970s, brought back by young students who had spent time in the United States as exchange students. The Finnish federation was founded in 1979, making it one of the oldest still-active American football federations in Europe.
The federation became our partner in 2023, and in spring 2025, a new and improved version of the platform was launched.
The updated platform now offers more detailed data on every game played, along with new features like uploading player photos, which can be used to generate stat-driven player cards.
The federation also oversees Finland’s flag football leagues, and SportApp powered the official results service for the 2024 Flag Football World Championship.

Finnish rugby federation
Finnish Rugby Federation was founded in 1968, and was accredited by World Rugby and Rugby Europe in 1999. At the international level, Finland has both men’s and women’s national teams in Rugby 15s and 7s.
As a sport, Rugby has not broken into mainstream in Finland yet, but the sport grows faster than ever. The number of teams and players has increased in recent years, raising awareness about the sport.
SportApp results and management platform for Rugby Finland was launched in 2025, and takes the sport into the next level in Finland.
Flag Football World Championship 2024
In collaboration with SAJL and International Federation of American Football (IFAF), sportapp.io was used as the official tournament management software in flag football world championship 2024 tournament.
The tournament took place in Lahti, Finland in august 2024, and ended with team USA winning both mens and women’s world championships.
This was the first world championship tournament to have all plays and statistics logged in real time.
With flag football being introduced as a olympic sport in the 2028 olympic games, this was a vital step in the evolution of the sport.

If you're intrested in bringing your sport to the platform, feel free to contact us.
The platform currently supports pesäpallo (finnish baseball), american football/flag football, rugby and can be expanded to include new sports through collaboration.
